After the SACCSS Swimming Carnival at the end of Term 1, SACCSS selected a team of students from all of the Colleges to represent SACCSS at the VSAC swimming championships on May 10. We were lucky enough to have 3 students invited to attend. Unfortunately, 1 couldn’t make it, but Scarlet Valor, 9 Bunjil and Chloe Burke, 7 Coranderrk represented our College, and SACCSS on the night.
The girls did an amazing job, giving their best and being part of the team. Scarlet competed in extra events across the night and Chloe had a PB in her breaststroke event. SACCSS ended up finishing the night in 9th place out of 15 sports associations from across Victoria, which is quite an achievement considering the targeted programs and resources of some of the larger sporting associations.
Congratulations to both girls on your achievement in being selected and in representing our College with pride.
