Congratulations to our Chess players for an excellent effort in the recent SACCSS Chess tournament. This competition was held on Monday 18 July at Thomas Carr College in Tarneit, with fourteen schools and more than 200 students participating.

It was very exciting to see that both our Junior and Intermediate teams won their divisions and are now the 2022 Chess champions. This was a lovely reward for the dedication and hours spent practicing by our students. Additionally, Ethan Tu was awarded a bronze medal in the individual games tally in the junior division. Our Senior team also played well, winning many of their games, especially as they were playing older students. Well done to all of our Chess students!
