The library is now back in full swing! Students from all year levels have been enjoying the resources and comfortable spaces at lunchtimes. A variety of activities have been enjoyed; from playing board games, to reading, completing homework and using laptops.

It has been particularly pleasing to welcome our Year 7 Students to the library. All the Year 7 Students have attended Library Orientation sessions. Students were informed of the resources that are available to them, how to borrow ebooks and audio books, as well as how to use the catalogue and the Library Portal.

The library is open from 8:00am every morning and will close at 4:15pm Monday to Thursday, and 3:45pm on Fridays.

Students are welcome to borrow up to 3 books at any time for a loan period of 3 weeks. If required, books may be renewed for a further 3 weeks.

Chess Club has also started on Tuesday lunchtimes in the library and during this term, students can enjoy playing social games. A school tournament is planned for Term 2.

Book Club is also starting up again and will be held every second Thursday at lunchtime. Students who enjoy reading are warmly invited to participate. During Book Club meetings, students can discuss their favourite books and characters, play book related games, help choose books and get first glimpse of the newest library books.
