Students of Year 8 and 9 Japanese took part in Japanese Taiko drumming performance and workshop.

Taiko experience reflection by Year 9 Japanese student, Liam Wilkins (9WO):

"The taiko performance on Monday was amazing! We were given the opportunity to not only view the performance, but to participate and play a variety of instruments. It was intriguing to see, listen to, and experience another culture's tradition, which has been around for hundreds of years. Ranging from how to play the drums, to how the instruments are made, and even how they are used in Japanese culture today, it was an amazing learning experience. This performance was truly spectacular!"
