The Hogan building was a very popular area last week, with the many aromas that had visitors waltzing in and exploring the action. The Year 7’s was super excited about being the kitchen for the first time, preparing Yum Yum balls. There was a buzz in the atmosphere that could not be dismissed. They did an amazing job, applying the safety and hygiene rules covered in during the theory lessons. Year 8’s kicked off the year making French toast topped with Rosewater strawberries.
Year 9’s jumped straight into shortcrust pastry and frittata making, while the Year 10 students hit the kitchen with Nasi Goreng and apple and strawberry crumble.
It’s truly been an amazing start to the year, we look forward to creating more recipes and aromas.
